Sales CV for Saudi Arabia: How to Show Targets, Territory and CRM Experience (2026)

Whether you’re a sales representative, a sales manager, or in business development, the reader of your CV is looking for one answer: what did you deliver compared with what was expected of you? Sales results are measurable, and a CV that leaves them out leaves your strongest evidence off the page.

Show achievement against target

"Achieved sales targets" appears on a lot of CVs, so on its own it doesn’t set you apart. Be specific: state the target, what you actually achieved, the period, and the product or service. These are illustrative examples of phrasing only:

  • Example: Achieved 118% of annual target in 2025 selling medical devices to private hospitals in the Eastern Province.
  • Example: Closed SAR 2.4M in new B2B contracts in 2025.
  • Example: Raised average basket value at the branch by 15% through warranty upselling.

Use real figures you can explain in an interview. If your company’s numbers are confidential, use percentages or your ranking within the team instead of absolute values.

Name your territory and customer type

Selling in Riyadh isn’t the same as selling in Jeddah or the Eastern Province, and selling solutions to companies isn’t the same as selling directly to consumers. Spell these details out. They help a hiring manager compare your experience with what their team needs:

  • The region or cities you covered.
  • Sales type: B2B or B2C, and channels such as retail, wholesale, or distributors.
  • Sector: food, pharmaceuticals, technology, real estate, automotive, telecoms, or others.
  • Customer type and size: SMEs, large corporates, or government entities.
  • Sales cycle: quick transactional deals, or contracts that take months of negotiation and proposals.

List CRM tools and skills by name

Name the systems you’ve actually used, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or Zoho CRM, and say what you did with them: managing your pipeline, building sales forecasts, or tracking team activity and reports.

Then add the skills the posting asks for that you genuinely have: negotiation, key account management, consultative selling, presentations, and preparing quotations and tender responses. State your Arabic and English levels, especially if you deal with customers in both languages. If the role involves field visits and asks for a driving licence, say that you hold one.

If you work in business development, name the kind of partnerships or new markets you worked on, and the stages of the deal you owned: prospecting, qualification, proposal, or closing.

Order your CV so results come first

Put your strongest achievement in your summary, and open every role with its most important result rather than a list of duties. If you’re a manager, add the size of the team you led and its combined results, not only your personal numbers. If you were one member of a team deal, don’t claim the whole result; state your share or your role in it.

  • Example summary: Field sales representative in the food sector covering the Riyadh region; achieved 110% of annual target in 2025 and use Salesforce to manage the pipeline and distributor follow-up.

Keep the formatting plain: one column, familiar headings, and no charts or graphics holding your key figures, because text inside images may not be read correctly by applicant tracking systems (ATS).
